How to Break Up with Yourself, Kick Bad Habits to the Curb, and Create Your Future Self
When you’re in a relationship that no longer serves you, what do you do? You break up and start over again. So, if you’re standing in your own way, you may need to break up with yourself before you can create your future self.
In this episode, we will discuss why you’re not the same person you were ten years ago, nor will you be the same person ten years from now. And if there always seem to be an insurmountable obstacle in your way preventing you from creating the person you want to become, or achieving your desired goal, maybe that obstacle is you and it might be time to break up with yourself and start over with a new you.
You create your future self by:
- First letting go of the labels you put on yourself about who you are and what you can and can’t do.
- Then create a clear picture of your future self.
- And finally, start living as your future self now.
