Why ”Excess” Can be a Good Thing!
When the brain perceives scarcity or deprivation, it is hardwired to trigger your starvation mechanism, which forces you to gain weight. And did you know that dieting often unintentionally triggers the brains evolutionary scarcity mechanism to collect and store food, leading to weight gain?
In this episode, we will discuss some of the unintentional ways in which our thoughts and behaviors can give the brain the perception of scarcity or deprivation, and what to do instead.
We will also discuss:
- Why it is best to focus on excess or abundance.
- Why the perception of scarcity or deprivation leads to weight gain.
- How to program the brain and our subconscious to work for us instead of against us.
- Why you should always focus on what you want to create instead of what you want to get rid of.
